Xochimilco, Mexico 2008

Xochimilco is the Venice of Mexico...sort of. Not quite as beautiful as the canals of Venice, Italy, but still worth the experience. Xochimilco dates back to the times of the Aztecs who used the canals to transport the sugar cane from the fields to the local WalMart. View my Travel Log and Photos at RangerCris.com.

Bora Bora 2008

Bora Bora is truly magical. Each of the French Polynesian islands has a different feel, and Bora Bora evokes romance and tranquility. When visiting French Polynesia, it is best to get an island hopping airline ticket so you can visit a few of the different islands...Bora Bora is worth at least 3-4 days if you are just going for a week. Also visit Moorea for outdoor adventures and scuba diving, Rangiroa for one of the most amazing diving experiences I've ever had, Huahine for peace and natural beauty or Tahiti if you are one of those travelers that likes a big city feel when visiting a tropical island.
